Meet Nikhi!

Nikhi has dedicated her education and time to working in the healthcare industry and studying health and wellness. She has taken every opportunity to expand her knowledge and perspective in how to create and cultivate health and wellness in the lives of others. She has training and coaching certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and a master’s from the University of Bedfordshire, Bedford, England.

 

She had the opportunity and pleasure of speaking at the SJL Climate Change & Environmental Sustainability Conference, 2022 on the relationship between sugar control and active travel. She is also a member of the International Society of Behavioural Nutrition and Physical Activity.

Nikhi has a particular interest in adolescent health to promote whole family health. In addition to working as a personal trainer, she is working on doctoral research into the physical and environmental co-benefits of active travel among adolescents.
